During last night’s Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ Reunion show, the audience was treated to some revelation.

Elozonam and Diane

The first half of the show was basically a couple’s therapy session for Diane and Elozonam. The events surrounding their fall out were addressed and Elozonam bared his mind. “Diane didn’t work out because she was distracted by too many people,” he said.

In describing the events that led to their current status, Elozonam and Diane began bickering with Diane referring to a party she attended with Elozonam, but left with movie actor, Mawuli Gavor. According to her, this was the reason Elozonam shut her out.

After being challenged to be a man, Elozonam narrated his own account in detail, referring to the same party Diane made mention of. He explained that even before arriving at the party, while both of them and a couple of other housemates were been driven to the party, Diane had been on the phone with Mawuli, who she urged to attend the party.

Elozonam went on to add that Diane was absent-minded at the party, kept to herself and was on her phone the whole time. He stressed that he tried to get through to her but she was unresponsive and he had a clue on what was going on. He noted that with Mawuli arriving at the party later, he was proven right especially when she left with him.

The former housemate earnestly expressed the way he felt about her, the way he treated her, and how he was treated differently. He stated that he wouldn’t stand for it leading things to end the way it did, between them.

Jackye and Mike

The friendship between Jackye and Mike was brought into question and when asked if there was anything between them, Ike stated that it was like a brother-sister thing. Jackye also admitted that Mike and herself were just friends.

On the issue of her past relationship which she always talked about while in the house, she explained that she was closed off to everyone else in the house because she was in love at the time, and always thought “fairy tales were real.”

She also said that she didn’t get a prior warning from fellow ladies that relationships could get messy, noting that she delved into one unaware of the possible outcomes.

Basically, she had learnt how devastating heartbreaks can be, the hard way.
