Who will win the COPA Coca-Cola 2016 School Cup?

The famed Onikan Stadium will host the final of the 2016 COPA Coca-Cola U-15 school cup this Friday, July 1st 2016.

With eight teams successfully participating in the national finals, this week will be the climax of football actions which kicked off in May on a national scale with 3,000 schools competing at the state and regional levels.

Commenting on the competition, Marketing Manager, Coca-Cola Nigeria, Patricia Jemibewon said “At Coca-Cola, we support activities aimed at developing teens. Copa Coca-Cola is not an exception and the journey so far has been exciting. We are giving the youths participating in this tournament a chance to compete among their peers, improve their game and write their future. We commend the coaches for their commitment to the participating teams and we are eager to witness the finals where the champions will emerge.’’

The national finals of the competition kicked off on Monday, June 27th with the Quarter final matches between eight teams drawn from the regional competition and grouped into Groups A and B.

The eight schools participating who will battle it out for the chance to become the supreme champions of COPA Coca-Cola 2016 are Rockford College, Lagos; FOSLA Academy, Abuja; Asegun Comprehensive High School, Oyo; Niger College, Edo; Government Army Secondary School, Rivers, National Grammar School, Enugu and Government Unity Secondary School, Jigawa and Government Model School Suleja, Niger state.

The million naira question now is who will emerge victorious?
