Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
Here’s our list from today:
1 President Buhari felicitates with Akin Adesina.

2. Chris Ngwodo pays homage to Dele Giwa’s memory.

3. Ayo Sogunro
Looks like the FG is quite unsettled about Atiku. Does he pose that much of a threat to their 2019 plans?
4. @jimbiochore
Nigerians are having a hard time believing the current occupants of Aso Rock.
Yesterday, Tunde Leye asked Twitter Nigeria to point out two major projects that this administration has completed and all we heard was crickets, then some excuses.
But according to Lai….
Pls somebody just help me wash my eyes I need to see all these 2trn @MBuhari project pic.twitter.com/62DMZRNMMv

See why @jimbiochore is looking for a babalowo’s help?
5. Kingsley
What exactly is going on with Nigeria’s 2018 budget?
N8.6tn budget for 2018???. Whats the essence of increasing the budget when they know they can hardly get up to N5trn? APC is a scam.

The biggest budget in the history of Nigeria? https://t.co/yyHgxBVfrE
— IKECHUKWU (@iykimo) October 19, 2017
Thats the plan?. Jagbros and co will celebrate it as an achievement.

6. Frank
Apparently, all these alternative facts spewed by the Federal Government’s lackeys are no more than than basic propaganda. According to Frank, that includes gist about which governor is doing the most. He explains further:
Reactions:
I still feel we underestimate the power of propaganda and narratives. Propaganda is so powerful!
Who remembers Rochas Okorocha pre-2011?
— Joel. (@joeloseiga) October 19, 2017
Rochas Okorocha also did a wonderful job with propaganda and vain promises before getting power.
I personally think he was the best with it https://t.co/36x0aUbFUN— Joel. (@joeloseiga) October 19, 2017
7. Demola Olarewaju
Quite unfortunately, the failure of this APC-led government has given PDP members prime opportunity to get their revenge by way of criticism, while reminding Nigerians of their bad choice.
Here’s Demola:
APC absolutely took Nigerians for fools in 2015 and many acted their part of the script with faithfulness.
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) October 19, 2017
APC promised 10,000MW of electricity per year to make 40,000MW at the end of four years.
Lol.
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) October 19, 2017
APC promised to generate 18 Trillion Naira per year as IGR, without oil. And people actually believed this in 2015. ???
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) October 19, 2017
I guess part of it had to do with GEJ’s achievements and his mien: like “if this dull guy can do this, a sharper person can do much more”.
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) October 19, 2017
For more ersatz APC promises of Eldorado and Utopia, follow @Iykimo. Me I’m just laughing at the gullibility of many of our people.
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) October 19, 2017
Soludo wrote that APC could never fund it – Fayemi replies that they had ways to generate funds.
Now they’re borrowing all over the place.
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) October 19, 2017
The next Govt should just make exciting promises and get the votes again I guess. The number of gullibles in this country is still high.
