Nigeria Twitter is currently flooded with conversations addressing feminism as many have shared their various meanings to the idea.
This trend is largely in reaction to parts of Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s love letter to his wife on the occasion of her 72nd birthday, where he urged women to be like his wife who has been very submissive in all their years of marriage.
Pastor Adeboye and his wife have been married for 50+ years and he's sharing what works for them.
But you, without any experience, in your 4th relationship this year like say na internship dey drag am !!
Y'all are just practicing misandry under the guise of feminism ???

While to many who identify as feminist, the pastor’s words may have appeared derogatory, a few others noted that he was only sharing his experience with his wife as they slammed those who berated the pastor.
I don't wants to have anything to do with Nigeria feminism not because of what Pastor Adeboye says, but because majority of feminists in Nigeria are delusional. whether you like it or not, Feminism & religion can never be compatible.
A feminist going to church na pure MUMU.

Apostle Johnson Suleman said "feminism is not gender rivalry, gender competitiveness, gender war nor gender equality… Feminism is gender visibility…. Make impact and you will get your respect! ONCE YOU ARE A SOURCE, YOU BECOME A VOICE"

If you are young with little or no record of heart break, choose your mentor carefully and go into relationship strategically.
Heart breaks don't leave people the same, every strike gets you a step closer to "woke twitter feminism" hall of shame.

Many others expressed what they perceive identifying as a feminist means in Nigeria.
News just in: feminism is apparently now for “pushing lesbianism”…

In the scriptures,it's a terrible thing for the woman to be the head of the home in marriage, that title is meant for the man!
But seeing that y'all always find a way to link feminism or wokeness with everything, let's just keep watching you display unbridled stupidity ?

Can I like go through Twitter without seeing feminism, inequality, women being inferior and the rest of these things..
Like I'm freaking tired of the society making women inferior
But can I just not see anymore tweets about it.
E dey pain my chest as I dey read am ?

Some pointed out that many feminists in Nigeria are missing the true meaning of the idea.
WIll and Jada gave you the bad marriage for life edition, y'all danced to the tunes with no rustling of anomaly.
Pastor Adeboye gave you the best part of having a wonderful partner, y'all sad.
These so-called Twitter feminists are entangled in their past experiences.

Feminism was one of the best thing that had happened to mankind but the moment some stone hearted Jezebelic species took advantage of that 'Theme' and turned it to a gender war, that's when Feminism got rebranded as "BITTERLEAF FC COVEN".

The current argument on the issue however is the notion that feminism can not mix with religion, with many stressing that the idea will always be in contrast with the very popular religions in Nigeria.
