#TheVoiceNigeria: Here are the winning performances from tonight’s blind auditions

We’re still in audition season and the excitement keeps building per episode.

Tonight saw another group of talented hopefuls contest for a spot in the competition and one thing that stuck out for us from this third blind audition was how long it took the judges to turn for the contestants they ended up choosing. Is this a new strategy? Did it really take that long for the contestants to convince the coaches? Or are these crop of contestants just not as impressive?

Of tonight’s eleven performances, eight made it into the competition and we will not forget how the final performer, Arewa Comfort helped us wrap the show with a performance that blew all the judges off. They literally sat at her feet pleading for her to join their teams. See who she went with and more here:

Okafor Emmanuel

This performance was the most beautiful to watch as Emmanuel got all four coaches on their feet dancing as he gave a rendition of R.Kelly’s Step in the name of love and earned himself a spot on Team Patoranking.

Tama Nisa

Tama may have done Shania Twain proud with her rendition of her 1997 classic, From This Moment. It didn’t take long for Patoranking to hit the buzzer for her and yes, she got on his team.

Joy Ebiem

26-year-old Joy was the second performer of the night and the first to wow the coaches. She performed her own version of coach Waje’s One Naira featuring MI. Best believe she got three out of the four judges to turn for her and Team Yemi Alade was her choice.

Torisheju Ogbe

The 28-year-old data analyst got the judges almost confused with his rendition of Avicii’s Wake Me Up but Yemi Alade’s buzzer saved the day and Tori could hardly hold in his excitement afterwards.

Obichi Marshall

Waje said to her “You are the voice”! Not only did she get the ultimate compliment, she herself got two chair turns and a place on Team Waje. Obichi got Timi super excited. She’s definitely one to look out for.

Godwin Bada

Today, I swear I’m not doing anything but winning“! With a delightful performance of Bruno Mar’s Lazy Song, Godwin got Timi to turn for him at the very final second and of course, he ends on Team Timi.

Blessed Eke

Team Timi got another hopeful in Blessed who performed Praiz’s single, Folashade.

Arewa Comfort

Of course we remember her from Season 8 of Project Fame West Africa so it comes as no surprise when Arewa got all the coaches to turn for her and beg for the opportunity to have her on their team. After a lot of pitching, she went for Team Waje.
