To those who rightly quote the scripture on praying for those in authority, they should take note that Paul started by saying the prayers should be made first for ALL MEN, then for kings and those in authority that WE( citizens and kings) may all lead a quiet…”( 1Tim2:1-2) Prayers need to be offered up also for the citizens of this nation. This is the shift going on in this nation that some are failing to see. The legitimate participation by the people in the governance of their nation. This imbalance in only “kings” participating in governance has been the bane of Africa. This is the wind blowing over the continent and to those who fear, regulating the affairs of the citizens with prayers would lead to a favorable outcome.
