You thought you knew all about some of your celebrities, well, no. Remember D’Banj waking up one morning and deciding to post a picture of his baby or even more recently when we saw a picture of Linda Ikeji’s baby bump?
They have a private life just like every other ‘normal’ human being and sometimes, they do well to keep those things private until…
So, in an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbin’ Minds, Temitope Adekunle popularly known as Small Doctor released some interesting details about his private life and we cannot but wonder – How?!
Before we go into the details of that, he asked if he has actually gone through the real street life – as Nigerians know it – and he confirmed it, saying he had already recorded his first single then but he needed to “have some other things to keep the boy going”. And more surprisingly (ok, maybe not), he worked as a bus conductor for almost a decade.
Then the bomb.
Ebuka asked: “You have a son”? and “two” was the reply from the “Penalty” singer. You might have wanted to rewind that part to make sure you heard it well.
The two boys of different mothers, as he replied “honestly”.
Then Ebuka asks: “Is that a trend in the industry. We see that a lot and it has sort of, become normal”?
Small Doctor replies: “It can never be normal”.
He adds, “Excuses everyone will give you is: ‘it was by mistake’. But I was on the streets and I was not that a responsible man back then…”
But he avoids one question: How old were you when you had the oldest one that is 14 years-old?
“I was in one age like that” (sic).
So, the question is not if he has two sons or not, after all, they are ‘blessings from God’ but how old was he when the street influenced him to produce his first son who he said is 14?
If we are to go by his profile on Wikipedia, he was born October 19, 1996, which means he is only 21 years-old.
Let’s do some mathematics.
21 minus 14 = 7
Ok, now we don’t understand what is happening here.
