Sisi Yemmie, Chef Fregz, Dodos Itegboje, Onyiibekeh | The YNaija Influencers’ Ranking for April

We are still in the thick of the coronavirus pandemic. We are also living in the world of Tiktok videos and ceaseless internet challenges. The crisis hasn’t exactly spelled doom for influencers as we have seen them adapting to the lockdown. An increase in social media usage, and the deliberate seeking out of content that people might find helpful during self-isolation is more and more becoming prominent. Here’s the YNaija influencer ranking for April:

8. Jennifer Oseh

Stylist, creative director and fashion influencer Jennifer Oseh better known with the moniker The Lady Vhodka has since been on top of her style game. Flared pants, prints, chic bags and bold colours. But she’s popped back on our radar with her wide-brimmed hat, a style staple of hers. Her Instagram is a brimming with style inspiration. Here she is jumping on the #PillowChallenge.

7. Chef Fregz

Knowing people are home due to the lockdown, Chef Freqz made the pivot towards Insta Live cooking sessions while still creating outlets to deliver meals for those who want it. He’s also working with the Culinary Arts Practitioners Association Nigeria to help raise aid for the hospitality community due to the COVID-19 crisis. His sister brand Fregz A Porter is creating special menus that would give 20% of its profits towards the cause. So you eat and donate at the same time. Talk about a win win.

Before you sleep! . . Set your alarms for 1pm tomorrow or check my stories for the reminder timer. . . I’d be going live on @BellaNaija . . I’d be making a Banga Pottage with a lirru twist. . . I’d also be cooking along with someone? Will that be you? . . You don’t have to make the same dish. We just cook along. I help you I show everyone my recipe. We all win!?? . . I’ll post my ingredients in the morning and I’ll have a recipe avaliable! . . I’ll be answering questions too! It’s all for an hour! IT WOULD BE ON THE @bellanaijaonline Page! Not mine! . . Don’t also forget to buy @fregzaporter to support workers in need. . . ?. . . #cheffregz #bellanaija #instalivecooking

6. Dodos Itegboje

5. Taymesan

In the age of Instagram comedy, a bulk of Nigerian comics can’t seem to make content without sexualizing women and reinforcing rape culture. It is even more pronounced in this coronavirus-induced lockdown, further showing that most will be better off doing something else. Taymesan, sticking to his comic model of casual observations and critiques from his life experiences, is winning.

This is the hardest piece of #content I have ever had to create in my entire life, yet. All for 14 secs, talk about commitment! Inspired by @thisthingcalledfashion and edited by the fantastic, @ada_ume after I struggled to get it right for 2 whole days. Sometimes, just pick your battles, mate. Please engage TF out of this because I suffered and yé, my hips do be telling all sorts of lies, just like Men ?? 3. Don Jazzy

Don Jazzy has churned out the biggest stars in music as a producer and label-owner, but there’s an under-discussed side to him that many have overlooked: the ability to market a product. You can also say he moonlights as an influencer, from his Indomie deal during the last season of Big Brother Naija and now with digital bank platform V Bank. Even his TikTok videos are funnier than most comics.

The apartment in question had a hefty price tag of $2.4 million which clearly is meant for the affluent. The online uproar looped back to his YouTube page, no one is surprised that we have Aina alerting how he much YouTube paid him for a video with one millions. We guess you care curious too.
