Samuel Madojemu, an official of the Code of Conduct Bureau on Thursday told the Code of Conduct Tribunal that Senate President Bukola Saraki made cash deposit of N77m in his account in August 2007.

The official was a prosecution witness in the ongoing trial of Saraki before the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

Madojemu said Saraki’s monthly salary at the time was only N254,412.25.

The Senate President has been accused of not fully declaring his assets.
