Trump holds joint press conference with Spanish Prime Minister

US President Donald Trump welcomed his counterpart from Spain Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy to the White House on Monday evening to discuss relations between the two countries and global issues as it affects both nations.

Shortly after welcoming the PM, the duo made a joint press conference.

At the press conference, President Trump doubled down on the North Korea rhetoric. Trump said that both America and Spain share many challenges and difficulties ranging from North Korea to Iran and what he called the rogue regime in Venezuela.

President Trump appreciated Spain’s decision to expel its North Korean ambassador in a bid to stand with the US to isolate the brutal North Korea regime.
