Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo to run for political office under PDP

Veteran Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has made known his intention to run for political office, following the example of entertainers like Julius Agwu, 9ice, Kate Henshaw, Bob Manuel, Desmond Elliot and several others who have hopped aboard the political train.

Reports say that Okonkwo declared to represent Nsukka/Igboeze South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), during a media parley on Wednesday, 8 October.

Okonkwo was one of the first stars of Nollywood, having been in the industry as far as back as 1991, when he featured in ‘Living in Bondage’.

Okonkwo has a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in Enugu State and also has a Masters in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, Akoka.

  2. Mr Kenneth Okonkwo ( populary called Andy) is a patroitic Nigerian, been in the industry from 1991 till now and still entertaining people is a good report. The scope of his exposure in the industry,traveling and study will make him a good representative, also on a good platform. I urge our people let us vote for Andy
