[The Legislative Blog]: Look who Bukola Saraki spent Friday evening with

It’s TGIF! Literally…

Senate President, Bukola Saraki was at the Presidential evening earlier this evening where he attended a special Juma’at service with President Muhammadu Buhari; Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai; Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and former Vice President, Namadi Sambo (who else is surprised Sambo is hanging out in public again after years of going off the radar?).

After the prayer session which was held in commemoration of Nigeria’s 57th year anniversary, the Senate President said of the country, “We have achieved a lot. We have been able to maintain our peace despite our diversity. Every nation has been tested, the most important thing now is for us to stay together. We should not lose hope. We should continue to pray for the unity of Nigeria”.

Saraki then went on Twitter to respond to a special report on cannabis abuse published on Linda Ikeji’s Blog in 2016. He iterated the National Assembly’s dedication to curbing the misuse of substances across the country.
