After allegations of induced votes and rejecting the results, Raymond Dokpesi has congratulated Uche Secondus, the winner of the PDP chairmanship election.

What happened:

Dokpesi, who contested had rejected the results of the votes after Secondus was declared winner.

He had stated that some PDP governors already choose a winner.

What is happening:

But in a statement on Sunday, Dokpesi said PDP must be the winner in the end.

“I thank you (delegates) most wholeheartedly for voting at the just concluded Elective National Convention in Abuja,” he said.

“I appreciate the delegates for voting at the convention and congratulate the newly-elected national working committee of the PDP led by Secondus.

“You will recall that I said that the PDP must be the ultimate winner at the end of the contest.

“God bless the Peoples Democratic Party. Congratulations PDP as I wish all our members the best of luck.”
