Nigerian music legend, Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2baba has finally responded to criticisms that followed his withdrawal from the ‘One Nigeria’ nationwide protest early this year.
The pop star who started a campaign for the protest, later pulled out in a video clip he posted on Instagram.
According to the singer, the protest was under serious threat of hijack by interests not aligned with the ideals of the march.
Even though the protest went on as planned, the ‘African Queen’ singer was heavily criticised for being a “coward”.
The singer has been silent about the incident ever since then, but he finally reacted during his Buckwyld n Breathless concert on Sunday.
While headlines from major blogs scrolled on the giant projector screen, 2baba reacted to them with lyrics from his evergreen songs.
The pop legend sang his 2017 hit, ‘Holy holy’, stating that no one is perfect.
