Hang the hangover: 5 ways to recover from a nasty hangover

1. Water

One of the main factors for all your sickly feelings in the morning is a fact that you’re terribly dehydrated. And the only sure-fire way to solve dehydration is with water. The earlier you start drinking water, preferably while you were consuming alcohol, the faster you’ll feel more like yourself.

2. Juices

One of the other reasons your body feels dehydrated after a crazy drinking session is due to the depletion of various vitamins, including A, B6 and C. In order to get your body work up again at normal levels again is by drinking fresh juices, including orange juice, tomato juice and glucose. These will replenish your body’s nutrients.

3. Fruit

Even though the hungover mind demands greasy food and French Fries, a fruit should actually be your go-to essential as it quickly injects the much needed vitamins back into the body.  Opt for bananas, kiwi and tomatoes- these brightly colored fruits are filled with potassium- that cures the hangover like a pro.

4. Exercise

Sweat out the chemical toxins from your body by engaging in some mild exercise. Get up and go for a 5minute jog to warm-up your body. Also, do a quick minor full-body workout, followed by a cardio session. It doesn’t have to be over a long period of time. A 20-minute session is enough to get you back to the real world.

5. Shower

It’s also advisable to get in a hot shower or bath and sit in it for a while. Not only will the steam and warm water help get the poisons out your system, but a bath may also help you recollect the memories from the last night.
