For days on end, fans of Nigeria’s biggest artistes, Wizkid and Davido have called for both of them to give us the diss battle that we all truly deserve but they have both stuck to subliminal messaging and Wizkid may have just dropped another big one on his rival.
In the most unanticipated fashion, Wizkid posted a tweet hours ago and although he didn’t mention any names, Twitter NG has blown up with replies naming Davido as his target.

Why everyone believes this message is a sub to Davido is not farfetched.
In OBO’s verse on Olamide’s newly released track Summer body, he made reference to the time Wizkid adviced that some artistes needed to quit being local and go international. Davido sang, “With Yankee passport, them say we local“.
If Davido has seen this tweet, then we’re pretty sure he’s somewhere in the corner of his hotel room crafting an appropriate comeback. Or he might just go Kanye on this one…
