- What was supposed to be a “peaceful remembrance march” in Onitsha, Anambra as well as Aba Abia, Rivers and Delta states” – has turned bloody.
- More than four persons have reportedly been killed following a bloody clash between the Nigerian security forces and members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) at Eke Nkpor in Onitsha, Anambra state.
- At the moment, it is not clear who the aggressors are, but according to various sources, the military and police were shooting sporadically into the air after clashing with the protesters.
