‘Presidency is not a retirement home! GEJ, carry go!’ || What PDP leaders said at #MeetThePresident

by Kemisola Filani

GEJ

Last night was another opportunity for members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to throw shade at the rival party members All Progressive Peoples Congress (APC).

During a meeting with about 5,000 youths at the Eko hotel, Lagos, tagged ‘Meet The President’, the likes of Musiliu Obanikoro, Governors Segun Mimiko, Peter Obi gave speeches.

See below:

Musiliu Obanikoro:

“The change we need in Nigeria is to restructure the country. In over 5 years of GEJ’s administration, Nigeria has not witnessed political assassination. The continuation of Jonathan/Sambo administration is the future Nigerian youths want.”

PDP National Youth Leader, RT Hon. Abdullahi Maibasira:

“Vote for a man who have shown us love and who believes in investing of people.”

Segun Mimiko:

Jimi Agbaje will be the next governor of Lagos. An independent governor working for everybody. Jonathan is the change we need in Nigeria. He is already transforming the entire country through laudable programmes”

Peter Obi:

Everybody here is a graduate and someone who wants to rule Nigeria cannot even present his secondary certificate.

Presidency is not a retirement home! Jonathan, carry go!”

Jimi Agbaje:GEJ

“When Gen Muhammadu Buhari was the Head of State in 1983 I was struggling to have N100 in my pocket. We can’t afford to have a soldier in civilian clothes at Aso Rock. The best option for us is Goodluck Jonathan. The alternative has nothing that GEJ does not have”

Goodluck Jonathan: My young and vibrant Nigerian youths I LOVE YOU.

I promise you that we will continue to give Nigerian youths opportunities to serve their country. The current PDP National youth leader is the real youth leader in the history of Nigeria. Within this space of time, nobody has intervened in Education, Agriculture and Health care more this government. The PDP states have done wonderfully well. The only states that have built first class airports are the PDP states. Even in presidential lodges across the country, only those of PDP states that are in superb state.”

Our target was to end Polio in 2014, but by June this year, the WHO will declare Nigeria Polio free, by the Grace of God. The rail system collapsed in this country around 1983/1984 we are bringing it back. The Asian Tigers (Malaysia, Indonesia and so on) are great because of small and medium enterprises!  It is our mission to create new millionaires among you all through various youth empowerment policies. The only thing that made to become the President of Nigeria is because I went to school. That was why we made it a priority to establish 12 new universities in the past five years.”

Myself and my vice, Namadi Sambo will continue to do things in the best interest of Nigerian youths. God bless Nigeria”
