Niyi Akinmolayan to spend N120 million on his first animation film, ‘Frogeck’

Akinmolayan said this during the Animation film day at the recently held African International Film Festival.

The initial budget was N120 million in development, that is about 300,000 Euros. We have opened up for people to have equity of 35%. We are looking at a N30 million budget for marketing amongst other things,” the Wedding Party II director said.

‘SpongeBob Squarepants’ creator Stephen Hillenburg dies

The creator of the Nickelodeon cartoon series “SpongeBob SquarePants,” Stephen Hillenburg, died on Monday. He was aged 57.

“We are incredibly saddened by the news that Steve Hillenburg has passed away following a battle with ALS,” Nickelodeon said in a statement.

“He was a beloved friend and long-time creative partner to everyone at Nickelodeon, and our hearts go out to his entire family. Steve imbued ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ with a unique sense of humour and innocence that has brought joy to generations of kids and families everywhere. His utterly original characters and the world of Bikini Bottom will long stand as a reminder of the value of optimism, friendship and the limitless power of imagination.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine Releases New Album DUMMY BOY

Originally set for a November 23 release, the LP was postponed shortly after 6ix9ine was arrested on November 18 and charged with federal crimes including racketeering and firearms violations.

He has, however, pleaded not guilty and will face trial in September 2019.

The album’s tracklist includes Kanye West and Nicki Minaj on “MAMA,” with West also contributing to “FEEFA.” DUMMY BOY also features Bobby Shmurda, Tory Lanez, A-Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Gunna, and more.
