Nollywood Yoruba actress, Kemi Afolabi and her movie crew were attacked by thugs while filming a new movie in the Ikorodu area of Lagos.

The actress was reportedly punched in the belly till she bled while valuable filming equipment were damaged in the incident.

A video of actress, Kemi Afolabi in a physical altercation with one of the area thugs has been shared across social media platforms with calls for protection for filmmakers in recurring situations like this.

Recall that actress, Omoni Oboli recently shared videos of a similar circumstance of thug attacks while she and crew filmed her newest movie, Okafors Law.

 

Georgina Onuoha weighs in on Apostle Suleman’s sex scandal 

Nollywood actress, Georgina Onuoha has taken a stand on the messy scandal involving controversial Nigerian cleric, Apostle Suleman and his alleged Canadian lover, Stephanie Otobo.

Onuoha shared a lengthy writeup via her Instagram account where she explains that no man is without sin and it is wrong to now throw stones at Apostle Suleman who she reveals is a backbone for most Nollywood actors.

She also acknowledged that the Apostle was the one who saved actor, Leo Mezie’s life with a donation worth N8 million at the time he was bedridden with a failed kidney.

9ice returns with new video “Living Things”

Nigerian artiste, 9ice also known as Alapomeji has returned with fresh visuals to his “Living Things” track.

Produced by Yung Jon, the track is off 9ice’s 8th studio album “ID Cabasa”.

The video was produced by Alexander the Great and was officially released on Monday.

Banky W releases new video 

We teased you with behind-the-scenes photos from the video shoot a while ago, now the work is done and the video has dropped.

The song titled “Blessing Me” is, according to Banky W, “just to thank God for always blessing him in all endeavors especially saving him from the fire that razed his place a few weeks back.

He said, “In the video, you see me rising from nothing to something… starting out as a worker in a mechanic/hardware shop; while praising and thanking God, our clothes get nicer, our surroundings get better, my car gets upgraded, etc. And then at the end, you see that my entire story and my rise from nothing to something, is actually in someone else’s mind as he reads about me in the magazine.”
