Bow Wow lied about flying on a private jet and the internet roasted him accordingly

Rapper, Bow Wow was the subject of the #BowWowChallenge that swept the entire social media space on Wednesday.

Bow Wow shared a photo of a luxury private jet on Instagram and left a caption that said he was set to fly on it to New York but in actual life, he was on a commercial flight.

A fan who was on the same flight then shared this: “So this guy lil bow wow is on my flight to NY. But on Instagram he posted a picture of a private jet captioned ‘traveling to NY Today’ smh,”

Then things got more awkward when people found the jet photo was a stock photo used by a transportation company.

The rest was fire…

Scandal MAY end after season 7

It will be tough but we may have to say goodbye to Olivia Pope and the rest of her gladiators soon.

TVLine reports that the ABC series will end after its seventh season and producer, Shonda Rhimes will be making the big announcement at its Upfront presentation next week.

Rhimes said in an interview, “I feel like there is a finite amount of Scandal to be told. I know what the end of Scandal will be, and I feel really good about that.”

It looks like the end has finally come.

 

Ubi Franklin’s alleged attacker released by police

We told you yesterday that MMMG boss, Ubi Franklin was attacked by a Chinese man in possession of two knives.

According to Franklin’s narration on Instagram, it was his cousin’s intervention that saved the day as the foreigner’s intent was to stab him.

He also added that he handed his attacker to the police. Yesterday though, he shared another post where he revealed that the man had been released and was back to his office where the incident happened.

A new documentary about Tupac Shakur is coming soon

It will be directed by Steven McQueen, director of 12 Years a Slave and he was recently authorized by the later rapper’s estate.

Amaru Entertainment, the company Tupac’s late mother Afeni established to release her son’s posthumous projects, and Shakur Estate trustee Tom Whalley will co-produce the film.

McQueen said of the opportunity, “I attended NYU film school in 1993 and can remember the unfolding hip-hop world and mine overlapping with Tupac’s through a mutual friend in a small way. Few, if any shined brighter than Tupac Shakur. I look forward to working closely with his family to tell the unvarnished story of this talented man.”

Tupac’s aunt, Gloria Cox will be one of the executive producers of the film.
