by Kolapo Olapoju

‎The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, has terminated further hearing on two separate suits challenging the eligibility of General Muhammadu Buhari, rtd, to participate in the 2015 presidential election.

The suits were struck out by Justice‎ Ademola Adeniyi after they were withdrawn by the plaintiffs.

Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN) who is representing Chukwunweike Okafor, told the judge on Wednesday that his client decided to withdraw his suit to enable the incoming government focus on the “enormous task” of governance.

Similarly, Dr. Chike Amobi, representing Max Ozoaka in the second case, also gave the same reason for withdrawing the suit.

After the termination of both suits, the remaining pending eligibility suit against Buhari is the one filed by one Ayakeme Whiskey.
