Excellence in leadership conference Daystar Christian Centre

The Day 1 of the Excellence in Leadership Conference organised by Daystar Christian Centre definitely did not end without everyone being geared up, inspired and empowered to do amazing things. The first day featured Pastor Sam Adeyemi, Pastor Nike Adeyemi and Joseph Siaw Agyepong.

Whilst we can’t wait for the second day of the conference, the highlights from the first day are definitely worth taking note of.

From Pastor Sam Adeyemi – High Impact Leadership

1. The best thing to do with Power is to give it away

2. The first sign that someone is power generous is that they are willing to share knowledge

3. High Impact leaders share all that they know with their followers

4. High Impact Leaders empower their leaders by shifting their thinking. Don’t hoard information

5. High Impact leaders help their followers to find their genius; every man is talented

6. High Impact Leaders give their followers an inspiring vision

High Impact leaders model sound leadership for their followers

 

From Pastor Nike Adeyemi – Empowering with Love

1. As Christians, love is our identity badge

2. Teamwork and continuity is the new strategy

3. We must always think in terms of generations in everything we do

4. Once you say you are a leader, people automatically have expectations of you

5. When we talk about power, we’re not talking about physical strength. We’re talking about love and concern

 

From Joseph Siaw Agyepong – DNA of an Entrepreneur

1. If you want to succeed, get attracted to excellence

2. Whatever name you give to your business as a Christian, God has accepted it. Hence, you can never fail

3. You really don’t need money to start every business. Start with your ideas

4. Whenever you see anything, take note and don’t ignore

5. Never say no to ideas. Just try them

6. Many of us hide our talents till we die with it
