The Nigerian Independent Electoral Commission has debunked issuing any celebrity observer cards or using celebrities as Observers in the forth coming election.

The news came as a response to a picture posted by a Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akintola on Tuesday where she claimed that she was issued an INEC celebrity observer card for the upcoming election.

The Commission made this known via its Twitter handle a while ago when a curious Nigerian asked questions on the news of using celebrities as electoral observers.

So if she didn’t get it from INEC, we wonder how she got it.
