#AikiClinic: Aiki Nigeria holds second Twitter chat of 2016

“Nearly 80% of employees say they would like to have more flexible work options and would use them if there were no negative consequences at work. However close to 40% of employees surveyed believe they would be less likely to advance in their career if they were to use flexible scheduling options”. – Workplace 2010 Fact sheet.

Employees report that they are more productive and more engaged in their work when they are able to balance the demands of work with other aspects of their lives.

Improvements in physical and mental health are also associated with workplace flexibility. Flexibility is becoming increasingly important as employees and managers balance competing priorities in life. Many organizations regard work flexibility as an investment designed, among other things, to attract and retain talent.

In view of this, the onus is on us to address the importance of workplace flexibility and how it informs the quality and productivity of employees in organizations. The chat will also focus on the overall effect on the organization itself.

Aiki Nigeria will be holding its second twitter chat in 2016 with Olakanmi Amoo-Onidundu (MCIPM, MNITAD, MSHRM), Group HR Director at Troyka Holdings Limited.

The issues to be addressed during the course of the chat is workplace flexibility a key to job satisfaction?
