The Nigerians in Diaspora America (NIDOA) is set to host an historic World Investment Conference come 20-21 of September, 2013 at the Renaissance Hotel, Newark, New Jersey.
According to the Chairman of NIDOA, Mr Ganiyu Dada, the conference is aimed at engaging participants in productive and actionable discourse on innovative ways to approach national development and homeland security in Nigeria, and to meet the challenges of the 21st Century.
The theme for the event is, “Towards a New Era Nigeria: Building Sustainable Partnerships for National Development and Homeland Security.”
He further stated that, Eminent Nigerians in the Homeland and in the Diaspora from all around the world will contribute to the discourse on The New Era Nigeria.
The Governor of Borno State, Hon Abike Dabiri, Amb. Ade Adefuye, and some Federal Ministers are expected to speak at the event.
For the first time a youth panel has been introduced to this conference and leading the panel are distinguished young people like Yetunde Odugbesan-Omede, Adebola Williams, Mohammed Aliko, David Kuranga. Also on the panel are Dayo Isreal, Hadiza Mohammed, Ony Nwahuocha and Wendy Osefo
Keynote Speaker for the youth sessions is Stephen Akinboro, Executive Vice President of Dominos Pizza who would speak on Nigerian Youth as Catalysts for a Vibrant National Trade and Investment Industry
