Youth Leader, Jude Feranmi to release ‘Lead the People,’ new book on advocacy

Jude Feranmi will on July 4 release his forthcoming book “Lead The People.” This was made known in a press statement to newsmen by his spokesperson, Victor Terhemba.

According to a published statement from the author, who was also the National Youth Leader of KOWA Party, he noted that the book is meant to inspire and provide ‘clear cut direction for any young leader who wants to see change happen in any community and in any country in the world.’

Mr. Feranmi’s desire for change in the country started long ago and has seen him working with other young people to influence the kind of change they want to see happen in the country. JFK as is fondly called, organised the first and only #BringBackOurGirls March in Obafemi Awolowo University and has engaged in other advocacy projects from peaceful elections in the Niger Delta, to climate change advocacy in the Netherlands.

Jude Feranmi, who until recently served as the maiden Executive Director of To Build a Nation (TBAN), said ‘I have spent my 20s for the love of country and the need to see progress in the lives of my fellow citizens. If I have learnt anything, it is that more young people are willing to follow this path as well and that we need even more young people to do so.

That is how change will come to our country or our community – when we have civic conscious, socially responsible and politically aware leaders calling for change from every direction,’ he added.

The book which is scheduled to be released on July 4 in Lagos will serve as a guide to young leaders and help them to be better leaders; according to the author who also wrote the book ‘The Pragmatics of Real Change’ and is the Convener of Raising New Voices initiative.
