Delivering a beautiful chorus on Sun Mo Mi – one of the hit tracks off EME’s 2012 Empire Mates State of Mind album, Shadrach Adeboye Folarin a.k.a Shaydee grabbed the attention of the Nigerian entertainment industry as many favoured him to be the next big success from the popular Nigerian label following the likes of Wizkid, Skales and Banky W.
Four years down the line, many feel he hasn’t reached his full potential despite claiming a Headies and an NEA nomination in 2015.
However Shaydee said he feels no pressure and still believes he has what it takes to be an EME superstar. 
The singer who is gearing up for the release of his debut album was a guest on an EME special of our #YNaijaTwitterInterview series on Friday, July 29 2016 where he talked to us about the thrills of being an artiste signed under the label, his upcoming debut album, his relationship with his label boss, Banky W and more.
