Yinka Edward: Yinka is a Nigerian cinematographer who began his career after he graduated from the National Film Institute Jos, Nigeria in 2006. He has since then worked on several projects including “October 1st” and the more recent “Lionheart” which he is well known for. 

Muhammed Atta: Atta is a renown cinematographer. He has been involved in a number of projects that span across stories bordering rape, tribalism and social injustices. In 2019, Atta’s lenses brilliantly captured the gloominess of the acclaimed movie, Light in the Dark. Atta has also bagged a number of awards and nominations to his name. 

Oluwatoyin Odukoya: Oluwatoyin is a Nollywood cinematographer who began her career in the film making industry in the early 2000’s. She has since then featured in 100 films till date. She has worked with top producers and is described as one of the most sought-after female cinematographers.

Sarah Tiamiyu: Sarah is a Nigerian cinematographer who is currently a journalist at BBC and a creative director at BlackGreyWhite studio. She has been involved in several projects throughout the course of her career ranging from TV series to films. Some of her works include a movie titled “Anonymous”. 

Joko Ike: Joko is a Nigerian cinematographer based in Lagos, Nigeria. He has been in the film making industry since the early 2000s and has been featured on several projects That’s has gained him much recognition in the filmmaking space. 

Baba Agba: From shooting shorts that have screened all the way from Lagos to Cannes and in between, to working with some of the best young talent in Nollywood, Baba Agba brings and unwavering passion and high level skills to his craft. No surprise having described the creation of images as his first love in an interview. Baba has worked with most, if not all of your favorites. From creating videos for the pop culture magazine Konbini to shooting the globally acclaimed Ojukokoro and parts of the Visions Anthology, Baba is one to respect. 

Adedapo Idowu: Adedapo is a Nollywood cinematographer well known for his works such as movies titled “New money” and “King of Boys”. His proficiency in the Nigerian filmmaking industry has gained him much recognition over the years. 

Tunji Akinsehinwa: Tunji is a Nigerian cinematographer and lecturer of cinematography in the UK. He initially started off as a documentary photographer but getting a degree in film production and delving into cinematography. Over the years of his career as a cinematographer, he has worked with major filming companies like BBC, HBO and MTV. Some of projects he has featured on includes a movie titled “Ojuju” which was released in 2015. 

Tunde Kilani: Popularly known sad TK, Tunde is a Nollywood cinematographer, director and producer with a career in the industry for more than 40 years. He has a degree from the London Film school and most of his featured projects are Yoruba movies. He is the CEO of Mainframe Films and Television Production. His presence of the years has gained him much influence and awards in the entertainment space. Some of his recent projects include the movie titled “Dazzling Mirage”. 

Okechukwu Oku: He is also known as “The Oracle”. Okechuckwu is a Nollywoodb cinematographer, producer and director who began shooting movies as far back as 2001. He officially started working as a cinematographer in 2011 and has since been featured in several projects ranging from movies to even music videos. Over the years, his hard work has earned him several awards and nominations.

Wilfred Okiche

Wilfred Okiche: Wilfred is a medic, reader, writer, journalist, culture critic. He is one of the most influential critics working in the Nigerian culture space, and his writing has appeared extensively in platforms like YNaija.com and 360nobs.com. Ink Blot: Founded in 2010 by four individuals namely- Damola Adedamola, Naz Onuzo, Zulumoke Oyibo and Omotayo Adeola, Ink Blot is a film production company that has been involved in the production of several Nollywood movies like “The Wedding Party”, “The Setup” and “Who’s the Boss”. 

FilmOne: FilmOne is an Nigerian entertainment company located in Lagos aimed at distributing and producing movies both locally and internationally with more focus on the West African region. They have licenses to top film houses like Disney and Warner Bros. 

EbonyLife Studios: EbonyLife studios is just one sector of the film company EbonyLife Media which is a headed by the CEO Mo Abudu. EbonyLife studios seeks to produce and create world class African stories. They are one of the leading media houses in Nigeria and they have over 5000 hours of original filming coupled with their cooperations with other international media companies. 

Golden Effects: Golden Effects Pictures is a top movie studio and production company in Nigeria. They have produced quite a number of Nollywood movies over the years which include “Irapada”, “The Figurine” and “The Phone Swap”. They have been producing movies, TV commercials and even documentaries for over 12 years. The company seeks to continue the legacy by featuring in even more projects as the years go by and impacting the media space as much as they can. 

Royal Arts Academy: Running for over 12 years and counting, Royal Arts Academy is a Nigerian film school with a Lagos and Uyo campus. They also run online courses and the school is aimed at discovering and breeding new talents in the film industry. They have alumni with big names in the industry such as Etinosa Idemudia and Ijeoma Agu amongst several others. 

ROK Studios: ROK Studios is a Nigerian film production company based in Lagos,Nigeria. They have been involved in the production of several movies and over 12 television series since their creation in August 2013 by Mary Remmy Njoku. Some of the projects they have been involved in include the series “Single Ladies”. 

Jungle Filmworks: With over 20 years in the filmmaking industry, Jungke Filmworks is a Nigerian production company based in Lagos that have been involved in movies, reality television shows, commercials and even live concerts. As a leading company in the film industry not just in Nigeria but West Africa as a whole, they have worked on projects for big breaks over the years. 

Koga Studios: Koga studios is a Nigerian entertainment company located in Lagos and founded by the Late Chris Jeyebo. The company aims at producing movies, film documentaries. They have worked on quite a number of projects including the award-winning film “Heroes and Zeroes”. 

Africa Magic: Africa Magic originally presented itself as a movie channel. Showcasing movies that resonate with its audience. However, over the years, they have created a number of original shows and movies that have won a number of awards. From the flagship TV drama, Tinsel, which holds the record for the longest-running series in Sub Saharan Africa; to the Pan African drama series, Jacob’s Cross, The Johnsons and Hustle Africa Magic has tapped into the rich creativity of Nollywood actors, producers, directors as well as creating opportunities for emerging talents.

Mainframe Pictures: Located in Lagos, Nigeria and founded in 1991 by Tunde Kelani who is a Nollywood cinematographer and producer, Mainframe Pictures is a film production company that has been involved in the filming several movies like the award-winning movie “Maami” and Nigerian drama film “ Dazzling Mirage” 

Mount Zion Film Production: Mount Zion Film Production is a production company founded by Mike Bamiloye who is also the founder of the Mount Zion Ministries. The company focuses mainly on the production of gospel themed movies and have been involved in many of such projects over the years. 

AntHill Studios: AntHill studio is an entertainment studio that focuses on visual media and animation production. They are located in Lagos, Nigeria. They have been involved in various projects that include cartoon animations and award-winning movies such as “The Wedding Party 2” and “Chief Daddy”.
