Fareeda Abdulkareem: Fareeda is a content developer, writer and film critic. She possesses a degree in communication from the American University of Nigeria and has been invited to several international and local critic platforms and events.

Segun Odejimi: Segun is a content writer, developer and critic of all things Nollywood. Known for his chilling and intriguing but critical reviews, Segun has built a name for himself in Nigeria’s media space and in Nollywood.

Nollywood Reinvented: Launched in January 2011 and also known as NR, Nollywood Reinvented is a website aimed at listing Nigerian film reviews. It also provides relevant information about the movie being reviewed. Nollywood reviews also hold an annual survey for movies known as NR Awards.

Cinema Pointer: Cinema pointer is a website that criticises movies through very blunt reviews as they claim not to “sugarcoat”. Currently, with over 10,000 followers on Instagram, they can reach a large audience to express their views on movies.

Oris Aigbokhaevbolo: Oris is a renowned writer-reviewer. He has attended schools for film criticism in Netherlands, Germany and South Africa. His works have appeared on several platforms and he has won quite a couple of awards for his reviews and criticism.

Ifeoluwa Ninihola: Ifeoluwab is a writer, editor and movie critic based in Lagos, Nigeria. He currently owns a blog where he pours out his thoughts and reviews sometimes on movies. Over the years, he has gained recognition for his work.

Tosin Omowole: Tosin is a prolific writer and film critic. She drops her reviews on movies on certain platforms such as Medium which is an online publishing platform. She has gotten much recognition for her recruits and criticism over the years.

Sada Malumfashi: Sada is a writer and film critic based in Kaduna, Nigeria. He airs his opinions on film projects through written reviews and he has gained recognition in the media space.

Daniel Okechukwu: Daniel is a journalist, blogger and film critic. His written reviews have been put up on several platforms mostly on the internet and have built a name for himself by his opinions on Nollywood movies.

Cinemashed: If you are looking for an undiluted, yet pensive critique of movies, Cinemashed has got you covered. Known for its information-based posts, Cinemashed exists on the internet and across various social media channels. They are also known for sharing opportunities for people who have an interest in pursuing a film career.

FilmRats: FilmRats is for anything movie. Known for outstanding reviews for almost every category of movie and TV, FilmRats is one of the few movies and film platform in Nollywood that gives first-hand reviews of movies, interview industry players and also keep readers in the know.

Chineze Anyaene-Abonyi is one Nollywood filmmaker, producer and director that has continued to support and grow the industry. Only recently, The Nigeria Official Selection Committee for the Academy Awards®, chaired by Chineze Anyaene-Abonyi announced the approval of Pidgin English by the Academy as a non-English (Foreign language) recording dialogue in films. This is a remarkable achievement as it positions Nollywood for the global recognition of the indigenousness of the Pidgin English in Nigeria and across Africa.
