#YNaijaBBNUpdates: Tacha apologises for her actions in the house | Reunion Day 22

It’s day 22 of the Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ Reunion show and more issues were ‘resurrected’

Elozonam and Diane

Just when we thought the drama between Elozonam and Diane was over, it turned out that they had more things to get off their chest. Diane’s issue with the whole incident is that Elozonam kept touching on one thing, which is the Mawuli Gavor incident. She feels like Elozonam heaped all the blame on her.

Elozonam in response said that he couldn’t help but bring it up on the show because it is his truth, explaining that he can’t leave such a huge part of the story out.

“It was a combination of things, but that is the straw that broke the camel’s back. You asked me a question and I answered,” he said.

He also stated that Diane always plays the victim, same way she wanted to abridge the story initially so as not to look like the bad guy. He alluded to miscommunication as a major part of the problem. “Diane can attest to this,” he said.

“There is always a mediator. I will be on my own and someone will come and tell me something,” he added.

Show host, Ebuka asked Diane why she doesn’t believe him.

Diane narrated an incident where a voice note between her and Elozonam was leaked, and people criticised her on social media. She said, first of all, Elozonam did not reach out, and secondly, there was no way people would know about the information in the voice note if she or Elozonam had not told them.

Elozonam denied this, emphasizing that the information in the voice note was already public knowledge.

“There was a lot of misinformation and a lot of people ran interference,” he stated.

Concluding their session, Elozonam apologised for leaning onto perceptions without first speaking to her privately. Diane responded with a simple; “We are okay.” On what next, he declared that as a result of the incident, they are acquaintances and cordial.

Tacha and Tuoyo

The issue of Tuoyo attributing Tacha’s confidence to voodoo was brought up.

In defending himself, he explained that he participated in an interview, and was asked if Tacha’s confidence is financial or spiritual. His response was that it could be financial or spiritual considering her affiliation with Jaruma.

They also had a back and forth about Tacha’s personality, attempting to differentiate between pride and confidence.

For Tuoyo, he described it as pride, while Tacha emphasized that it is confidence. He accused Tacha of insecurity “because she likes to talk over people,” stressing that such action is common with insecure.

She attributed some of her attitudes to her rough childhood, and the fact that she had been independent from guardians at a very young age.

“I cannot justify the way I behaved in the house sometimes, but we cannot deny that the world is an evil place, I cannot afford to show I’m being vulnerable,” she said.

She eventually apologised for some of her actions in the house, especially when she was loud or derogatory.
