#YNaijaBBNUpdate: Trickytee and Ozo’s run cut short just inches away from the finale

Last night, the dark horse of this year’s Big Brother Naija housemates: Trickytee and a once fan favourite: Ozo were evicted from the Big Brother Naija house; remaining just 6 days to the finale.

Ebuka routinely popped in to check up on the housemates during the Sunday Night Live Eviction, and after a now usual tense chat with some of the housemates, proceeded to announce the first evicted housemate – Trickytee.

Chatting with Ebuka on stage, Tricky stated that he whilst he always expected to be evicted every week he was put up for eviction, he also had faith. He said he never failed to count his blessings. He also spoke about his interest in Wathonistating that if anything were to happen between them it would be outside the house – obviously.

Later on, Ebuka joined the other housemates to announce the second housemate to be evicted, and in a shocking turn of events, he asked Ozo to join him on stage.

Ozo’s exit last night was somewhat of a show. He used his final moments in the house to profess his unyielding love for Nengi, whilst Nengi cried profusely as he left.

Speaking to Ebuka on stage, Ozo admitted that he knows people would perceive him as dumb for the way he acted towards Nengi, but he has no regrets and reiterated that what he feels for Nengi is real.

Ebuka then inquired as to why he was so persistent with her, even though she told him she had a relationship outside the house. He stated that: “She has so many great qualities, I’m more like cold water, I feel like she has that fire if I were to build a family with her.”

It was certainly sad to see the BBN Lockdown resident lover boy go, and of course, the infectious joy that Trickytee brought to the house will be missed.
