Following the finale of the Big Brother Naija lockdown season, Ebuka had a chat with Neo to discuss his stint in the show. Of course, a chunk of the discussion centred around his love interest Vee, however, he still had other interesting things to say about his Big Brother journey.
Ebuka started by asking Neo if he felt disappointed not winning the show, Neo gave the emotionally correct answer of remaining grateful for the opportunity.
His relationship with Vee was tabled and Ebuka wanted to figure out how it all began.
“Omo she track me oh” Neo responded, after which he narrated how she came for him and how he eventually fell hard for her.
Ebuka then asked why they fought so much over food. “Vee na problem I no go lie, but it was only about the food part,” he said. Neo spoke about how she was always indecisive about what she wants to eat and if she wants to eat at all.
He said that Vee sometimes creates a huge fuss over the tiniest issues, but the best part of it is when they eventually make up.
Ebuka also asked why Neo refused to make his relationship with Vee official and he admitted that he wasn’t ready for it. Even until now, he said that he wants to focus on making money and creating a career for himself, before chasing a relationship.
The career he has in mind has everything to do with fashion and the entertainment industry. He said he wants to be an actor.
When asked about the whole Tolani and Kaisha having a crush, he said he wanted to refrain from any kind of love triangle, that’s why he refused to give the situationships any life. He said Tolani was a conversation buddy, and although Kaisha is hot, he was already involved with Vee, so he didn’t act on it.
For Chinedu Okafor, its all about making an impact with words, creating a profound impression on the audience with the intended narrative.
