Like every other housemate, the Big Brother Naija Lockdown host, Ebuka sat with Nengi, who is arguably one person fans of the show want to listen now that the show has ended.
In a chat with Ebuka, Nengi disclosed all the reasons she created a convoluted relationship with Ozo.
Just like the rest of the country, Ebuka wanted to find out why Nengi continually rejected Ozo’s advances and every time he decides to take the hint and let go, she would find a way to draw him back. He also asked her if she did that knowing that Ozo was the kind of guy that would come back to her.
“I wasn’t trying to eat my cake and have it.” I actually really liked him and at that point and I wanted him to understand what I want,” she responded.
She also admitted that if she didn’t have a relationship outside the house, she would have explored a romantic relationship with him.
“I was literally fighting temptation everyday.”
When asked about her emotional outburst on Saturday after Ozo ignored her at the party, she said she felt hurt because she had already discussed with Ozo that they shouldn’t let public opinion come in between them, especially considering that she might get a bad name for rejecting his advances.
She admitted that there is still a possibility, even though its a slim one, for the Ozone ship to sail and stated that only time will tell.
The future for Nengi, she says, is about her business. She did admit that she wants a career in entertainment but alluded to her lack of talent as reason why entertainment isn’t top of mind for her. She disclosed the need to go train in film school first before she steps into showbiz.
