YNaija partners Stopgo Movement to bring #HOME project to Babcock University

YNaija, the internet newspaper for young Nigerians is partnering with Stopgo Movement to launch the #HOME Pproject.

#HOME is a home improvement awareness campaign to sensitize residents of Ilishan-Remo community – Babcock University’s host community – about the benefits of healthy living.

“#HOME simply means I am back home to give back to the community in my own way by sensitizing people on ways they can prevent diseases like malaria,” says Israel ‘Izzy’ Olaore, Founder, Stopgo Movement.

The three day event which kicked off on Wednesday, February 24, will feature The RED Talk, The #HOME Show featuring Israel Olaore, Philidelphia Choir, Grace Chapel Praise Team and the Service Day.

The Service Day is a mosquito-free initiative which will see Babcock University students and Olaore provide mosquito net installations, public health services, food, music and dance for the Ilishan-Remo community.

The event is in partnership with YNaija, Red Media Africa, Babcock University Teaching Hospital (BUTH), Enactus, Babcock University Students’ Association (BUSA), and Elijah Leadership Group.
