Announcing the Y! Policy Hub Series starting today! Meet the Columnists – Zaynab Usman, Modupe Adefeso, Femi Longe, Mfon Ekpo, Saidat Akanbi, Tola Sunmonu & Mondiu Jaiyesimi

Continuing in its mission to provide a platform for young people to drive dialogue and purposive conversation, the team of editors at YNaija.com has announced a new series – the Y! Policy Hub series.

“We are passionate about this particular platform because we believe it is solely lacking in the youth space – where we have a lot of talk and activity around politics, but very little around actually issues and policy, which happen to be the more important factors that drive development and growth,” said the editor-in-chief, Chude Jideonwo.

The column will go beyond corporate and government criticism, and focus on constructive and purposive conversations and ideas that center on solutions, alternatives and practical pathways to rebuilding the nation – especially those that are knowledge, fact and experience-based.

The columnists will contribute monthly for the first month, and evolve into fortnightly columns beginning in March. The series kicks off on Monday, February 4, 20123.

“From Ivy League scholars to professionals working directly in the sectors they will be writing about, we are excited to welcome the columnists who will lead this conversation,” Jideonwo said.
