Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama is currently in a meeting with Maite Nkoana Mashabane.
Onyeama is in South Africa to speak with South African officials on the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians.
There have been outcry in Nigeria over the killings of Nigerians in South Africa. The Nigerian legislature decided to send a delegation to speak with the South African parliament.
On Sunday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying Onyeama and the Minister of Interior, General Abdulrahman Dambazau will meet top ranking South African officials, including the country’s president, Jacob Zuma.
