Woman tells dying husband Trump has been impeached just so he can die happy

Teresa Elliott, a Texas resident reportedly told her ex-husband, a life-long Democrat who saw President Donald Trump as a “loathsome individual,” that Trump had been impeached just before he died.

According to Washington Post , Michael Elliott {75} was a “CNN junkie” and according to his ex-wife, he said things about Trump that could not be printed. His ex-wife delivered the fake news in hopes of giving him a happy thought before he died on April 6.

“I told him that everything’s going to be all right,” Teresa Elliott reportedly said of her conversation with her ex-husband. Michael Elliott died “peacefully,” according to an obituary in the Oregonian. Teresa Elliott told the Washington Post that after he passed, his friend told her “that he had completely relaxed and taken his last breath, and he was gone.”

One of Michael Elliott’s friends called his ex-wife just before he died. Someone held the phone up to his ear so that the formerly married couple could talk.

The Elliotts’ story was not the first to bring the prospect of Trump’s impeachment into the public conversation. Public Policy Polling released a poll in February showing that 46 percent of Americans favored Trump’s impeachment.
