Since his inauguration as the governor of oil rich Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, has severally accused the former governor of the state, Rotimi Amaechi, of misappropriating the state’s resources -including spending about N80 million on a dinner party in honor of Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka.
However, in what seems like a twisted movie plot, a lawyer and President-General of Save Rivers Movement, Charles Aholu, has accused Wike of allegedly spending N300 million to acquire two bulletproof mobile offices.
Aholu, who made the revelation in a facebook post titled “YOUR EXCELLENCY, WHAT IS THE COST OF YOUR LATEST SWAG?”, stated that Wike was a man of “grand appetite for grandeur.”
