Did you wake up this morning to find you’d been logged out of the Twitter (for Android) app on your device, and wondering what that was all about? Well, you were not alone.
Most of you won't even notice @twitter was hacked at around 3am today, and all android users logged out and denied access…

Apparently, Twitter was down for a long while and didn’t come back up until early this morning. It is not clear whether this was as a result of a malicious attack or server downtime. Whatever it was, Twitter Android client was inaccessible for hours (as night owl must have observed) and the desktop client Tweetdeck, is reported to have been backdating Tweets.
In case you are worried about the safety of your private data, just for good measure, you might want to change your Twitter password.
