by Azubuike Azikiwe

The Governor of Akwa Ibom, Godswill Akpabio says the alleged missing money from the nation’s treasury has been shared by all the governors.

Former president, Olusegun Obasanjo had recently alleged that the nation’s treasury and the excess crude account had been depleted.

Akpabio made the declaration on Thursday, January 8, at the PDP presidential campaign rally in Lagos.

The governor, who is the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governorship Forum, revealed that the alleged missing money was a propaganda tool created by the opposition party, All Progressives Congress.

Speaking further, he stated that the money which was about 55 billion was shared due to the needs of the people in the respective states of the governors.

In spite of the revelation, Akpabio failed to state the currency of the said money.
