We See You: Frodd, Oby Ezekwesili, Aproko Doctor, others

Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social issues, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous.

Here are the ones we we saw today:

Peaceful protests is one of the tenets of democracy and you’ve just hit the nail right on the head, Madam.

This must be about the African American/African hair discourse and frankly Nigerians can be brazenly ignorant about cultural appropriation.

Maybe ”womb shifting” doesn’t have to be taken literally but figuratively [cues in Jay Holiday’s Bed]

Today is another Monday. Let’s all get ready. We are a moving train. We are unstoppable. We are indescribable but we are just Us doing things our own way with the help of the Almighty God. We dont know what may happen tonight but let’s all get ready. Frodd is phenomenal. He is not an everyday ordinary man. He is one man who believes so much in the enitiy called family. We all are from one family units. . . There is a super grace from above that is speaking for him and we do not take it for granted. If we need to vote again this week let’s know we need to triple what we have done before to keep standing. . . King Frodd loves you all and wants you all to know he is an imperfect being who may hurt you unintentionally. Let love lead and let’s keep growing FroddNation. SLOW TIGER is forever grateful and once again will count on us this week if need be. . . REMEMBER TO STAY SWEET . . #frodd #froddbbnaija #TeamFrodd #FroddNation #BBNaija #bigbrothernigeria #bbnaija4news #bet9jabbn #bbn #bigbrothernaija #bbnaijapepperdem #bbnaija2019 #BBNaijaHouseMates #BBNnaija #bbnaijaupdate #bbnaija4 #bbnaija #bbnaijaupdates @bigbronaija @bet9jaig @legendnigeria

Yeah yeah Today is Monday but Big Brother didn’t put anyone up for eviction today. Put your epistle back in the folder for next week. All the best.

What would you consider ”suffered enough”? I don’t think we should completely write off protests that can induce revolution. Look at some of the social changes that feminists have been able to effect in the larger society from social media. Have some faith, Dipo.
