We bet you didn’t know that Hollywood Christmas animation ‘Elliot the Littlest Reindeer’ stars AY Makun and Omoni Oboli

This December, another animated Christmas movie will be released – Elliot the Littlest Reindeer directed by Jennifer Westcott and out in American theatres today. The voice cast boasts of Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson and Deadpool actress Morenna Baccarin, Jeff Dunham, John Cleese, Martin Short, Samantha Bee, amongst others. But what you didn’t know is that this holiday-season movie also has popular Nollyood actors AY Makun and Omoni Oboli rendering their voices. “AY and Omoni are two very talented/groundbreaking actors and producers who have been very fortunate to work on varied projects,” a statement from Moses Babatope of FilmOne Distribution reads. “It was only a natural fit for this especially with two actors with such strong family values and family is very important to us at FilmOne. Their inclusion as part of the cast of the movie portends great things for future collaboration between Nollywood and Hollywood.”

A statement from FilmOne’s Kene Okwuosa  also reads: “Decisions and collaborations like these further show much the world looks at Hollywood and how it continuously making its mark. We hope for this to be a stepping stone for more to come.”

Elliot the Littlest Reindeer revolves around Blitzen announcing his retirement on December 21, giving a miniature horse three days to fulfill his lifelong dream of earning a spot on Santa’s sleigh during  the North Pole tryouts. Elliot and his friend Hazel set out to prove that no dream is too big if you believe in yourself. Out in Nigerian theaters on December 14, check out the trailer below.
