Twitter has been frothing with reactions from Twitter influencer Pamilerin Adegoke accusing Peruzzi of assaulting him recently in Bayelsa. Pamilerin made the accusations via his Twitter account, accompanied by a photo of his face showing a slightly reddened eye, saying he was slapped by Peruzzi’s after he was accosted.
His words:
After the event it was time to go back to Lagos and face traffic, I got into the bus that was taking us to PortHarcourt from Bayelsa, next thing I heard was, come down here, then I felt heavy hand pull me down.
All I could hear was, are you AYE(cult), I could not respond because I was lost in thought. What is happening I said to myself. Then this guy dragged me where Peruzzi was standing. Ohh, it’s you, I said to myself.
Next thing, your super star Peruzzi pulled me up with the help of his bouncer holding my hands, the next thing I heard was boom. Is that from THOR I said to myself. He started screaming, don’t you ever tweet about me again, you are mad, who do you think you are.
This continued to about 20 minutes, everyone around was shocked and dumbfounded, he said how on earth will I compare him with Teni ????He said he does not care, but this is you abusing me after 6 months.
Bearing in mind that I tweeted on the 6th January, 2019. When the whole comparison between himself and Teni surfaced online. I simply asked our gentleman not to compare himself that Teni has put in lot of work, so she deserved to be given her moment and credit.
As acknowledged in his tweets, the assault had happened due to a tweet from Pamilerin back in January, wherein he compared Peruzzi to buzzing artiste Teni the Entertainer, saying Teni was a better singer and implied that she was more deserving of the SoundCity best new artiste award. That said, it’s astonishing that there are people defending Peruzzi’s assault on Pamilerin:
Y’all coming for Peruzzi because he slapped your influencer.
Y’all hide behind your keypads to spew trash and degrade people’s work.
Forget Peruzzi the artiste, and think about Peruzzi as someone older than Pamilerin. He was slapped for being disrespectful. pic.twitter.com/iODZ334LaX— J. (@officialjashin) June 10, 2019
Peruzzi’s ”inability” to manufacture another hit song has been a popular joke online, and it’s easy to see why he allegedly assaulted Pamilerin. His debut album Heartwork was released late last year, but it wasn’t a towering, impressive effort. Twitter has been churning with opinions on the assault, and of course the memes:
Did i just hear that Pamilerin who is verified on twitter got some verified slaps from unverified Peruzzi? pic.twitter.com/HJh9GmTixO

If I were Pamilerin, I’ll so drag Peruzzi with court cases nd media outlets till people start calling us P-Square. pic.twitter.com/4aY2SjIVqM

It’s his opinion. But truly, Teni is actually better than Peruzzi. Going as far as slapping him because of his opinion is a no brainer. Pamilerin is suing. Someone needs to teach all these arrogant one-hit-wonder artists some bitter lesson.

Lmao. This app. You guys saying that boy deserved to be slap or saying if you talk shit online prepare for consequences. I hope you realize a lot of us talk shit on a daily and by that logic, we should have been slapped, killed or arrested already.

Because you people don’t like this Pamilerin boy, you’re gonna make Peruzzi feel like what he did is okay?
No.
What he did is NOT OKAY.— Written By (@DamiElebe) June 10, 2019
