Trump’s Chief of Staff, Kelly slams media as he dismisses resignation rumours

In his first press briefing after rumours of his impending resignation hit the cyberspace, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly has dismissed any possibility of his resignation and equally offered a piece of advice to the press.

The former marine general who boasted of a healthy relationship with President Trump said he is not so frustrated to contemplate resigning nor is the President planning to fire him. Mr Kelly signaled that though his role as the White House Chief of Staff is the hardest he has ever taken, it is equally the most important job he has engaged in, noting that his service as a marine officer was his best job.

However, in response to the peddled rumours by the media and their constant conflicts with the president’s notions, the Chief of Staff said he reads reports and watches TV interviews daily, and could therefore testify that most stories are misreported and out of context. He however encouraged media personnel to get better and credible sources.
