President Donald Trump tweeted in a long Twitter rant that despite the malicious coverage his administration was getting from the media, his base was getting bigger and stronger than ever.
“Hard to believe that with 24/7 #Fake News on CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, NYTIMES & WAPO, the Trump base is getting stronger!” he tweeted.

Trump had earlier tweeted back to back expressing his frustration about media coverage of his administration’s successes so far and approval rating polls which are at the lowest for a president at this point in his term.
“The Trump base is far bigger & stronger than ever before (despite some phony Fake News polling). Look at rallies in Penn, Iowa, Ohio and West Virginia,” the president said on Twitter, and then followed up with; “The fact is the Fake News Russian collusion story, record Stock Market, border security, military strength, jobs, Supreme Court pick, economic enthusiasm, deregulation & so much more have driven the Trump base even closer together. Will never change!”

The president started his rant Monday morning by going at the New York Times, calling it “inept”. He wrote earlier; “The failing @nytimes, which has made every wrong prediction about me including my big election win (apologized), is totally inept!”
Though Trump didn’t indicate what story he was referring to, a New York Times article published Sunday reported Republicans were quietly running a shadow campaign for 2020 elections including Vice President Mike Pence. Pence released a statement rejecting the report, calling it “disgraceful and offensive”.
Let’s see has Donny ever exaggerated? Occasionally, but usually it’s a manically insecure bald face pathological serial lie. So Donny, you didn’t have the largest inauguration crowd, win the popular vote, have the most electoral votes, and no orange fat watery pigs can’t fly nor are your poll number rising. And your only legacy, barring impeachment and imprisonment, will be they name a mental illness after you.
