Trump fires back at media over John Kelly’s sack rumour

President Trump has dismissed rumours of his impending firing of White House Chief of Staff John Kelly.

President Trump instead commended the services of the former military general, arguing that he is doing a fantastic job for him and the entire country. The President, as usual, slammed the media for being “dishonest”.

Trump in a tweet wrote, “The Fake News is at it again, this time trying to hurt one of the finest people I know, General John Kelly, by saying he will soon be……..”

The other tweet reads, “…fired. This story is totally made up by the dishonest media. The Chief is doing a FANTASTIC job for me and, more importantly, for the USA…”

It should be recalled that, President Trump is still embroiled in spats at the media over last week’s NBC News report alleging Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to have called Trump a moron and had contemplated resigning in July, but for VP Mike Pence’s persuasion.
