Students of the Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso took to the streets this week to protest a 6-month long strike that has seen them shut out of campus. The peaceful protest ended in violence as police men shot at them in a bid to disperse the protesters.

This Kaduna lawmaker, Honourable Suleiman Samaila was exposed in a loan scandal on Thursday. It is reported that he took huge sums from the Guaranty Trust Bank to repay another loan he’d taken from UBA. The Guaranty Trust Bank has now written to the Speaker of House urging him to ensure the loan is repaid.
