Students of the Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso took to the streets this week to protest a 6-month long strike that has seen them shut out of campus. The peaceful protest ended in violence as police men shot at them in a bid to disperse the protesters.

This Kaduna lawmaker, Honourable Suleiman Samaila was exposed in a loan scandal on Thursday. It is reported that he took huge sums from the Guaranty Trust Bank to repay another loan he’d taken from UBA.
