TOG Media releases report on Road Safety Forum

TOG MEDIA Consult partnered with Federal Road Safety Corp, Lagos command and The Goodfathers’ Foundation to organise the first ROAD SAFETY FORUM in Nigeria. This is a panel discussion on stakeholders in the safety industry. The founder and convener of the forum, a Road Safety Activist and Executive Director TOG MEDIA, Chuks Anyaduba stated that the essence of the forum is to influence policy makers into making rules and regulations regarding safety on roads and to also create more awareness on some safety signs and their usages.

The theme of the forum was SPEED MANAGEMENT; Speed vaccine essential in reducing road traffic accidents in Nigeria. In attendance were press men, members of the public, Road safety students from University of Lagos and Students of Sound Hope International School. Members of the Panelists present include;

Mr. Hyginus OmeJe – Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corp, Lagos Sector Command

Sir Franklin Ojukwu – Chairman Goshen Integrated Resources

Mr. Mark Slade – Managing Director Ringier

Mr. Seyi Osiyemi – General Manager, Fleet Operations, LAG BUS

A sustainability expert and immediate past curator of the Global Shapers Community Lagos Hub Emilia Asim-Ita and the co-founder of the Climate Wednesday Olumide Idowu also gave an in-depth meaning of sustainable development goals and urged the audience to pick a goal and promote.
