Over in the abroad this time of the year, parents take their children to visit Santa at the malls and he gives them presents after asking if they’ve been naughty or nice. That’s usually after they get a truckload of presents from their parents too. The homeless and poor also have a hope in Salvation Army’s (and other charities) soup kitchens where they can get food and a place to sleep.
Nigeria has tried to make a thing out of Santa here, but it hasn’t quite caught on. At least, we also have our own version of soup kitchens. Some churches and individuals take to popular parks and slum neighbourhoods to share Christmas cheer by way of food and drinks.
Perhaps you think you aren’t that wealthy to undertake such an expensive venture. Have you considered what 1,000 naira can do?
Allow Nori and others share their stories and go thou and do likewise.
God bless.
Driving in traffic today when i remembered I have a couple N500 notes in my bag about 5 of them actually.

I made someone smile today and that's worth far more than money or any material item. ❤️

I once gave N500 to a guy who claimed he was stranded in Ibadan and needed transport fare back to his location. He started crying. God bless you in return.

Few days ago, I was at my mechanic. A boy of about 12 came begging. Nobody answered him. On his way out, called him back and handed him N500. The boy went flat on the ground. He said thank you like 20 times.

It’s always great to do something good for people who really need it. I withdrew 200k last week & put 5k in envelopes & handed over to different security personnels from the bank to my estate to my friends’ houses & offices. The disbelief in their face almost brought me to tears

It’s something I pray I can continue doing next year. If God blesses me as much as he blessed me this month. My security man knelt down to thank me
